Hinge Caliper Privacy Policy

Hinge Caliper is made by D-Cade LLC. This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: it doesn’t collect any.

Information we collect
None. Hinge Caliper has no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking, and it doesn’t send any data over the internet.

Information stored on your device
The app saves your settings on your iPhone, such as preferred units, ruler and caliper calibrations, and whether the rulers and outer display are on. This information never leaves your device. Deleting the app removes it.

Camera
If you turn on “Show on outer display”, the app runs the camera, because iOS only allows apps to use the iPhone Duo outer display while the camera is running. No photos or video are recorded, saved or transmitted. The camera stops when you turn the option off, close the iPhone Duo or leave the app.

Sensors
The app reads the hinge angle and motion sensors on your device to show measurements. These readings are used on your device only, while the app is open, and are not stored or shared.

Children
The app doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
